(Answer) (Category) Home Automation FAQ : (Category) Wiring : (Category) TV/Video/Coax :
What type of coax cable should I use?
Most people recommend you install RG-6 Quad Shield coax cable. It generally costs about 10 cents a foot in 1000' spools. This cable has excellent shielding and can be used for video signals, satellite connections, and much more.

You will need F Connectors sized for Quad-shield RG-6.
