What is the difference between PAL and NTSC?
PAL and NTSC refer to the signalling formats used to transmit video to televisions and other video gear. Because of this the PIC-TV must transmit video in a manner that will be understood by your TV.
NTSC video is a signal format developed by the US for television signals and is used primarily in the U.S. and Canada.
PAL is used in most other foreign countries. If you are in doubt, ask someone at your local video store if your country uses PAL or NTSC.
