When I power up the PIC-TV I can't display any text
It has been reported that users powering up a PIC-TV for the first time sometimes get a black screen and cannot display any text.
PIC-TVs should power up the first time with a BLUE background. If you get a black screen, the BOB-II module is hung.
We have only seen this happen the first time a PIC-TV is powered up.
If this happens to you, power down the module and set it aside for a few hours or overnight. Power it back up and the screen should be blue and the module should operate normally.
It appears to be an initial powerup problem with SOME BOB-II modules. Once the module comes up normally after sitting for a while, the problem goes away.
