TD816/TD1232 Super Hybrid PBX
The Panasonic TD816 and TD1232 are analog/digital hybrid PBXs which allow you to use proprietary digital phones alongside normal analog POTS phones. The TD816 can handle a maximum of 8 CO Lines and 16 digital extensions. The TD1232 can handle a maximum of 12 CO Lines and 32 digital extensions. The TD816 comes equipped for 4 CO lines and 8 extensions while the TD1232 comes equipped for 8 CO Lines and 16 extensions. Note an 'extension' can handle a standard telephone as well. This phone can be INDEPENDANT of the digital phone. Thus a PBX with 8 extensions can also have 8 standard phones as separate extensions for a grand total of 16 extensions. This is done via the eXtra Device Port (XDP).

These PBXs are very modular and flexible. You can start off small and add all sorts of features by adding expansion modules/cards.
