(Answer) I want to be able to tell when a window (slider or casement) is open. I've seen several sensors, but it looks like you have to drill into the window. It won't be a problem to drill into the jamb and stuff a sensor in, but will I need to drill into the frame of the window or do they make something that sticks on? Then... once the sensor is in place, what do you connect it to? I assume the sensors are not hardwired back to the controller.
