(Answer) (Category) Home Automation FAQ : (Category) HVAC Control : (Category) Air Exchanger Control :
My air exchanger uses 120VAC. How can I control it?
If your heat exchanger is plugged into a wall outlet, simply use a 3-prong X-10 appliance module. If the exchanger is wired directly into a junction box, use one of Leviton's direct wire X-10 relays. If it is connected to a wall switch, try using one of Levitons relay based wall switches. Since it is an inductive device, DO NOT use a regular X-10 wall switch designed for lights.
