(Answer) (Category) Home Automation FAQ : (Category) HA Equipment : (Category) Creative Control Concepts/HCS-II : (Category) HCS-II Supervisory Controller :
How many daughterboards can I install on my HCS-II?
It is recommended that you install a maximum of 4 or 5 daughterboards on an HCS-II. Installing more than this can overload the 7805 regulator and can also stress the address and data bus drivers.

Creative Control Concepts is investigating the development of a daughterboard which will allow multiple HCS-II controllers to be networks and synchronized via XPRESS commands. This will allow for more devices in large, complex installations.
